Donations

We love your donations! Please donate items that are in good condition and clean, dry, and mold-free. We accept all types of fiction and non-fiction books (except encyclopedia sets), recent magazines, DVDs, Blu-Rays, CDs , puzzles and games that have all of their pieces. Your donations are used in the following ways:

Book Nook

The Book Nook is located at the back of the 4S Ranch Library opposite the fireplace. We have three sections of shelves plus the Children’s book cart. The Book Nook is an ‘on your honor’ store where you choose the book and then place your donation in one of the two cash boxes located on either the left-hand section of shelves or on the Children’s cart. We stock our Book Nook with the latest in fiction and non-fiction for adults, young adults and children. We also have featured collections and holiday books at different times throughout the year. Book prices range from 25¢ to $1.00 with the occasional book priced at $2.00. Shop us first for great prices!

Better World Books

Better World Books is our online bookseller and they sell rare or unusual books to buyers across the country. Each item that we receive is scanned to see if Better World Books can sell it for us.

EBay

We have an eBay.com page under the seller name 4sranchfol. Here we sell books and DVDs sets rather than individual books. If you make a purchase from our eBay site, and you’re willing to pick up your item at the library, then the shipping fee can be refunded.

Buck-a-Bag Sale

Every few months we also have a “Buck-a-Bag Sale” where we sell “well-loved” and duplicate books, games, puzzles, DVDs, CDs and other items that have been donated. You can get an entire bag of books or magazines for $1-$3 depending on the size of your bag. Watch for the advertisement for the sale in the library.
